Tyre reviews Maxxis Premitra HP5. Page 5 213

Probably the worst tires I've ever driven on in 20 years. I bought them after reading rave reviews on various sites. Until now, I've been driving on European and Japanese tires. Compared to the same Michelin and Continental, the noise and hum from these tires are terrible. At first, I waited for them to wear in and the situation to improve, but after 2,000 km of mileage, nothing changed. They continue to make noise on both smooth asphalt and porous surfaces. Yes, for the money, it's not worth waiting for miracles from them, and they are far from the level of even the Koreans, such as Hankook. The only plus of this "Chinese" tire is that it balances more or less well.

It's too early to say, the mileage is small, however, the mileage will only show the wear resistance.
The main characteristics without devices are indistinguishable from Pirelli Cinturato P7, which were worn out "to the limit".
The cabin is no noisier than with Pirelli Cinturato P7.
They hold +/- the same.
The tires are new, the tread is deep, so it's not time to talk about aquaplaning yet.- Vehicle:

Soft, comfortable, holds the road steadily, doesn't wander, and handles turns pretty well.
Wet asphalt is excellent, aquaplaning is within reasonable limits, depending on the puddle and speed.
Heavier than Japanese and Korean analogs, or so it seems.
I would take the same ones for my sedan.
The quality is excellent.
Considering the condition in which the wheels are transported, they were balanced perfectly!- Vehicle:

Non-uniform wear with normal toe alignment and calm driving. 20 thousand km and the tread on the rear wheels has worn out. The front edges wear out faster. Mercedes S.
Conclusion. Cheap but only up to 20 thousand km maximum.

At this price of 7080 rubles in the new realities, the Taiwanese tire that is installed on the conveyor of all world manufacturers is the perfect option, among the cheap ones, this is my choice without a doubt

Hello, 195/50/15 tires are installed on a Grant FL, 8 clop, 2023, mileage 2000 km. Driving style is within the traffic rules.
A single star note means the inability to evaluate according to this criterion.
Visually, the tire is made of low-quality material, in particular, the sidewall has a rough texture (unlike tires from well-known Japanese manufacturers), so it gets dirty quickly after washing. The side lugs of the tread have a rounded shape. The rim protector is effectively and functionally designed, it perfectly protects the wheel flanges from curbs. It was not bad in balancing. I won't specify the exact weight of the tire, but by feel, it's above average in this size. The sidewalls and tread are of medium hardness.
Regarding operational characteristics.
On dry and wet surfaces, the behavior is predictable, it has no tendency to aquaplaning, and under lateral loads, it holds the trajectory. As for durability and tread wear, I won't comment.
The tire is not quiet (for example, a regular Belshina is quieter, but it doesn't work either). By 2000 km mileage, the noise decreased, and now it doesn't bother. The noise effect of the tires changes drastically depending on the road surface.
In summary, I note that with a combination of operational qualities and decent design, the tire can be purchased boldly, especially recommended for operation in "rainy" regions.
For operation where summer rains are a rare phenomenon, there is another, quieter tire.
