The tyre was purchased based on reviews on avto.mail.ru and European magazine tests. For the price, it is unbeatable. Unfortunately, I still haven't managed to drive it in the rain for objectivity, and my assessments of driving on snow and ice are conditional. The noise level is quite noticeable, but not intrusive, and it may decrease after around 1000-1500 km. I'll update later with data on wet driving and wear if possible. I would definitely buy it again

For parameters that I couldn't evaluate or aren't meant to be evaluated, such as for winter, I put an assessment of a unit.
The tire has been very much liked. At first I was a bit hesitant to take a Chinese one, but after looking it up, I decided it was a quite decent option. Indeed, it turned out to be.
In the first 500 km or so, the tire was pretty noisy on the road, but after that it

I've been using Maxxis Premitra HP5 245/45-R18 on my Opel Insignia diesel 160 HP since 2017, driving both in Moscow and out of town. I often take long trips of over 1000 km per day. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 65,000 km, and now it's over 243,000 km as of 2022. Previously, I had Continental tires of the same size, which wore out in just two summer seasons. I installed Maxxis on the advice of a friend. I was surprised that when installing two out of four tires, no weights were used at all, and the balance was very good. This was a pleasant surprise. Now, I'm finishing my sixth season of using the Chinese brand. The tires behave very well on dry and wet roads, don't drift in the lane, and don't aquaplane. In reality, they minimize fuel consumption. On new roads, they are quiet, but on gravel or old road surfaces, they are noisy. There was an unpleasant incident when I picked up a 23 cm long metal stud, 1.2 cm thick, which punctured two sides of the tire at once (during the repair of the wheel). I had to replace two tires at once to maintain balance, and again, one tire was replaced without weights during balancing. Today, two of the tires have been driven for over 100,000 km, and the other two for over 40,000 km. During the cold season, I drove on light snow, and the tires performed adequately, but for winter, I always switch to winter tires. The price and quality of Maxxis Premitra HP5 245/45-R18 were previously ideal...

Drove 2000 km, no noise!!! The tyre is great, holds superbly! In the rain, it's like driving on dry asphalt!!! The price is sweet. Can't say anything about wear, drove too little. Checked the reviews in advance - supposedly it's noisy, but it's not true!!! The car has become much softer on the go, and there's no noise whatsoever. I was using Nokian Hakka Blue 205/50 R17 before, and it

I bought the tires just in time for a long trip to the sea. I liked them 100%. On the highway I needed to make 2 emergency stops - clear, the noise was absolutely minimal (which I was afraid of, because I had a Chinese noisy tire before, which I inherited). The tread is the same as on Nokian Hakkapeliitta, so why pay extra?...and as for wear resistance - miracles don't happen: either the tire works well during braking,

The tires are generally of good quality. They are suitable for those who prefer a comfortable ride without sharp movements. They were balanced perfectly, evenly. At first, they seemed too soft, but considering their decent directional stability, the wheels are good. When cornering, the car leans in, but not critically, and on wet roads, it holds up at reasonable speeds. For me, it was important how the car would behave on the highway at high speeds. In the three speed ranges of 130-150-170 km/h, there are no complaints, it doesn't pull, and it goes straight. The ride is comfortable on bumpy roads, and it handles joints and ruts well. You can't compare tires on different cars and with different sizes. The latest generation of Ford Focus has a suspension that is far from soft, and with these tires, a good balance was achieved. The car has become more stable, with a feeling that the weight of the wheels is not small, but it's very good that you don't get tired on the highway, and you don't need to make adjustments, it doesn't wobble. I didn't notice that the tires are noisy. The braking is excellent. From what I remember, the tires are similar to Geolander, but a bit softer. They are a good product, and I recommend them.

Excellent tires! They handle the road perfectly! The only thing is they are "undersized" - at the stated profile of 215, I measured 205. In all other respects, only positive impressions.
Should we rate summer tires on snow and ice?

All who doubt whether to take or not,
The tire is quite quiet, for its size, surprisingly soft on a sports suspension, noticeably, balancing on 4+, good Chinese rubber, I got a fresh one, six-month-old- Vehicle:

Good tires. A bit noisy. Did not drive on ice and snow, therefore gave 1 star. After 5000 km not a single puncture nor a single crack on our terrible Arkhangelsk roads.
