Tyre reviews Bridgestone Blizzak VRX. Page 9 419

I've driven on these tires for 7 seasons. Good rubber, predictable braking, and good handling. In my opinion, the worst thing is starting on rolled snow (on ice - as expected). In April, I purchased a replacement - Sailun ice blazer arctic. It was nice to see the same guys who put Bridgestone on my rims in 2017. Service and maintenance are 5+. Thank you.

Skoda Octavia A7, 1.8, front-wheel drive, DSG, my tire size is 225/50/R17. Previously, I drove for 6 years on winter Goodyear Ice Grip 2, also with studs. Now, when I took Bridgestone, the first impression was when they just rolled them out of the warehouse on a cart - WOW!!! The tread looks very cool! As for operation, listen, I think they hold the car better than Goodyears, I can drive up the icy hill at the dacha on them, but I couldn't with Goodyears even with a run-up!

Tires are just a bomb! Soft, the car becomes very comfortable. This winter was very harsh: strong frost, a lot of snow. Then, on the contrary, everything melts and there is solid ice. And in all these conditions, the tires showed themselves at 5+
Even on bare ice, they behave better than many studded tires. In general, I really recommend them.

Tires are definitely worth their money. At speeds of up to 120 km/h (I don't drive faster), they hold the road well up to -27°C (haven't gone lower yet). Good traction on any type of snow. If the road is a solid sheet of even ice, only the driver's skill and sober mind work, there are no other options in my understanding. The sidewalls are quite stiff, but this is not a minus, rather a plus. There's a strange nuance... at positive temperatures, they are very noisy, as soon as the thermometer shows at least -2°C, the tires simply quiet down and start working much better than on dry roads at positive temperatures.

It's not worth overpaying. I used to drive on NORDMAN studded tires. There's no difference, but it's much better than Tunga Zodiac, I've had that experience too.

The tire is good, I've already tried it on 2 cars, including in a low-profile version 18/225/40 and 13/175/70, the advantages of the tire: stability on the road (including in slushy weather), minimal skidding, and low noise. Wear is individual, but overall very decent. Price/quality is an excellent option. P. S. The review is written exclusively about the made in Japan production.

Good quality tires. Winter was very snowy. They handle snow easily. On the road at a speed of 80 km, stability is reliable. Drift is minimal. It holds the road well. It starts moving easily from a standstill.
Among the drawbacks, one can note the initial slipping on ice. But this can be attributed more to the highly revving first gear of the given car model.
