I chose the latest Bridgestone model (non-studded) at the time of purchase.
Braking on ice is absent, especially if there is even a thin layer of snow (the car rides like on a summer tire).
On any surface (asphalt, packed snow, ice) with a layer of snow, braking is almost non-existent. The ABS system is constantly engaged.
