I was slightly disappointed, compared with Hankook 419, not for winter with a small snow cover, studs do not like to lock up. After two months of operation, 20% of studs fell off, with a gentle break-in, they are very soft and sensitive to turns.

I have a Hyundai Sonata, a quite light car, so for its 215/55 R17 size, I looked for the most "aggressive" tires to not get stuck somewhere on the side of the road or even at a parking lot. In principle, the second set of Spikes I got meets the quality of its promotional description. Indeed, there were a lot of situations when, in the name of my safety, they actually worked. This includes braking and re-routing on

My Elantra was equipped with 195/55 R16 tires. Everything was fine: handling, braking efficiency on ice and other surfaces, even the quietness in the cabin was quite good. I can't compare to it in terms of durability, but I need to change to winter tires every year; it's already the third winter I've done this. I think few manufacturers have achieved such a level. I would recommend not to look for adventures on the car, but take a Spikes

I have been using this type of tire on my third car and I am extremely satisfied with the quality and balancing of characteristics. Not once have they let me down, not even saving me on several occasions. A good, robust tire, I drive on it and know it won't let me down, and I will always get home.

I'm driving a Mercedes-Benz C-Class with 205/60R16 tyres. I've been using this vehicle for the third season so far, without any complaints. The handling is precise, the typical noise of studded tyres is there, but the interior is comfortable. I mostly drive on clean roads, but sometimes I also drive on snowy and icy roads, and so far the car's behavior pleases me.

Grips well on dry and wet asphalt, holds well on ploughed snow and ice, snowblows excellently, feels well on the track in turns, its limit is perfectly felt, after which the car can be overtaken.

Great tread! Doesn't get damaged by rollovers and even when braking sharply, the tread blocks snugly fit into the rubber. As for the silence, it's self-explanatory – the tread blocks are there. Pretty robust, it's not afraid of impacts and side punctures. Perfect for hunting, where in the snow and where on rocks, tires withstand loads. Wherever you sit on them, it’s quite challenging – as soon as the wheels touch the ground, it will inevitably

I liked these tires because I no longer worry about checking the weather forecast to decide whether to drive to work in my car or take the van. They handle everything, I was very pleased with the confident handling on an unclean snowy morning, that's where the real test of tires lies, if you get through that without any trouble, all the tires will last long.

It was well-balanced, I took it for a spin and ran it on all the roads I could find. In general, after two seasons, I haven't encountered any road or weather conditions where the tire lost grip or braking distance was critical. The studs are still intact and everything is still in its place.

I am personally satisfied with these tires and will likely make the same choice again if need be.
They handle the car well on ice, as well as on a mixed, snow-and-ice track.
Compared to summer tires, they are certainly noisier, but I understand that is to be expected.- Vehicle:
