Hit a pothole on the highway fist-sized.

If you live in an area where there is snow and subzero temperatures, don't even think about buying these tires. They can be used as an all-season option at around zero temperature, no more. Ice - they don't hold, don't brake, don't start! They also don't cope in snowy slush. Only suitable for the southern part of Russia, where snow falls and melts. After using VRX, I was very disappointed with my choice, having read rave reviews.

I agree with the previous comment, on the highway at high speeds, it holds the road well, but in the city, you need to be careful if there's snow and ice. Several times there was good snow and the city roads weren't cleaned, then it would skid at traffic lights when others were driving. In the same weather conditions, I felt confident on the highway. There were no problems on wet roads. On clean roads, it's pleasant to drive, almost like on summer tires, with no rolling resistance at all.

The tires are of different widths, I ordered them in October 2023:

225/40 R18 92V XL - 41/2021 production, Poland

255/35 R18 94V XL - 30/2021 production, Hungary

The tire fitter said that the 255/35 from Hungary are good and even, but the 225/40 from Poland are not very good.

After driving to the snowy Ulyanovsk region with black ice on the highway, I want to say that this tire is the worst I've seen in my life.

If you don't move further than the city and the M4 highway (and even then, only if it's not after black ice), then take it. If you have a private sector or a lot of highway driving, definitely take studded tires.
