The tire was very impressive. It has a moderate weight (8.3kg - r1619555), is durable, visually appealing, and looks like a semi-slick from the side. It performs very well on wet roads and in the rain, and also on dry roads, everything is excellent. It doesn't give false sensations of grip like some tires, the car's behavior is predictable. I caught skidding on a wet road at a speed of around 130 km/h on a curved turn, just to test the traction, a couple of movements and the car is back on track.
On wet intercity roads, you can drive at 130-140 km/h without any problems, well, this is specifically about my car, without electronic stabilizers. It doesn't hydroplane. On dry roads, it's comfortable at around 140-160 km/h, it handles well and doesn't catch ruts. In cold weather, the rubber doesn't become hard (you can safely drive at up to +3°C), and in hot weather, it doesn't float. The tread is not very deep, about 6.8mm, but it wears out slowly, approximately 60,000 km and the tire is still easy to drive on.
For its price, it's a great deal, I bought 4 tires for 35,000 in mid-2025, and there's no alternative for that price.
I will definitely buy it again.

They are noisy, but not too much, and they handle the road well on both dry and wet surfaces. They are resistant to bulging (there are plenty of bad roads in my city) and for the price I paid, I'm satisfied. Yes, they're not Michelin, but they're also twice as cheap. Size 245/40 R18

It's very good, I've been racing on this tire for the second season. In terms of speed, everything is fine, it confidently holds the grip, doesn't slip in turns. And at the same time, it's not too noisy. It drains water normally, I haven't noticed any aquaplaning on it.

Noise directly depends on the quality of the coating - on fresh asphalt, it's completely quiet, on rolled-out asphalt, the noise is very small. In turns, it's quite gripping, up to a slight squeal before the start of skidding. I won't comment on wear, the mileage is small

On emotions, but I'll try to be brief.
From the factory, it was equipped with Continental (Premium Contact 5 215.55.18 97W Czech Republic) which seemed noisy at first, but after a couple of thousand kilometers, they became normal. I drove on them for 3 full seasons, about 55,000 km. Towards the end, when the tires became slick, I started looking for quieter and softer tires (hello, Skoda suspension!). They recommended this tire for the D2 and the store said they were quiet, so I bought them (in the city, from a store that had them in stock). I drove the first couple of thousand kilometers smoothly to break them in, then we went on vacation (to the border) on the highway, and these tires were awful! Moreover, the Superb was fully equipped with a Euro suspension! After switching to Euro suspension twice, with a 1-month interval, the suspension was fine (ttt), we took it to the service station twice, they checked and shook it... But it reacts VERY strongly to road tracks!!! It simply throws you out of the track and wobbles like you're driving a VAZ 2102 with worn-out shock absorbers (like in the 90s). On smooth new asphalt, of course, it's perfect, but it feels even the slightest track very strongly, immediately pulls and it's impossible to steer - it throws you out! I can't say that they're quieter than the Continental Premium Contact 6! They're not better than Continental in terms of hardness, comfort, or quietness.
Moreover, at start-ups, the traction is terrible! The tires screech and slip! On Continentals, the front end jumps up, as I explain: the traction is very good, the transmission wants to spin the wheel, but the front-wheel drive can't handle it, i.e., the traction is strong and the wheel spins but can't pull the car, it jumps up to spin! That's what happens... on Yoko, this doesn't happen, it just grinds.
Braking on 4+ is not a problem, and it doesn't screech in turns.
My rating is 3.
If you want a quiet, comfortable tire, this model is definitely not it! To clarify: specifically on the Skoda Superb 2017 with 225.55.17 tires on 7J rims! For 7J rims, you can put wheels from 215 to 225.
I do not recommend it for active driving!

Good tire, quiet, comfortable, middle of the road in tests but with a minimal difference from the test leaders, I'm overall satisfied with the tire, actually, I can only compare with Yokohama other models.
