Tyre reviews Toyo Proxes T1 Sport. Page 2 497

Handles well on dry and wet. Was very pleased with it at high speeds - the car felt glued to the road. Have not tried it in the mud. Previously had Hakka Black, Toyo handles better and was cheaper. May be a bit noisier and stiffer for some, but that may be the property of any low profile tyre. For me, the most important thing is handling, especially on wet, and there are no issues with this.

Excellent tires, never tried them on snow or ice. Went to Crimea in July 2017 from Siberia and back, completely satisfied with comfort and handling at 100%. Silent too, I expected the worst, but it's actually quiet, only noticeable on speeds above 130 km/h on new asphalt. Aquaplaning manifests itself at speeds above 100 km/h, but I think it's not worth driving fast in rain. Pleased especially with disk protection (lip), saves from disk

Can't say anything bad about the tires, put them on BMW X5, price/quality corresponds, possibly will lead to tire wear, but that's possible.

The tyre has a crazy bead! Doesn't react to water after Michelin XHP priming at all. Even at 140-150 km/h, the electronic stability system doesn't turn on. But in the mud, snow and ice, it refuses to move. But over the stones in the Bashkir mountains, we climbed without damaging the sidewalls. They are really strong. The rims were bent in a pothole, but there are no cracks on the tyres. I'm satisfied.

I'm currently on my 2nd set of Toyo T1-S tires (after the original Michelin SX-GT), my next set will be Toyo T1-S again. They have excellent grip wet or dry and are very controllable when they reach the limit. However, they can be too stiff for some people.

Generally good grip in the dry, grabby traction when cold, likes to be hot for better adhesion. Wet performance is somewhat unpredictable, and therefore not trustworthy. Front wear set to 1 mm after 7500KM! Not worth the money!

Oval tire! O 6mm difference between phgsta and lgsta points. Impossible to balance. No centering ring. Moreover, very unstable on the sides. Very unpleasantly mounted at the back. The tire is not round. Impossible to get balanced. Causes vibration. Also, terrible lateral stability. This is made in Serbia and Croatia, but claims are made in the EU.
