Optimal price-performance ratio.

I'm writing again. I've had 20,000 kilometers over the winter. March has come and it's warm in Crimea, I've changed my shoes. I conducted a second balance before storing the winter tires - changes were up to 15 grams. The tread depth is around 8 mm (10 mm new tires). All studs are in place. We will change shoes again in November and continue our journey.

I've been driving on these tires since 2012, satisfied with the tire, excellent product!

Using these tires for the first time, they handle snowy conditions well and also hold the road well on black ice.

I decided to try winter tires in autumn 2016. Before that, I drove on all-season tires year-round. I looked for a relatively inexpensive, quiet, and comfortable tire. Just to fool winter, as I mostly drive in the city and occasionally in the suburbs on a highway. I settled on Sailun Ice Blazer mainly because of the absolutely acceptable price. Got the 205/60 R16 studded tires. Price is below competitors in its class, but don't expect outstanding results from this tire. A decent budget option. Good wear resistance. The studs are there to give you peace of mind. Keeps snowy mash and slushy road well, but on ice you need to slow down, it's not confidence-inspiring. Medium level of noise and comfort. If you can't afford a premium, this is a worthwhile option.

I've been searching for a long time to find a good balance between affordability and performance. Before that, I drove 5 winters on Matador Ermak Mr-95 tyres and they performed well on all parameters, but there's a minus - they lack traction in deep, wet snow and tend to slip, whereas on freshly fallen snow, they work very well.
