Excellent tyre, everything is just great!!!
Driving for the third season, not regretting at all!!! Compared to the previous Nokian Hakka 5 SUV (made in Russia),
but can't skid on asphalt, studs are gone very quickly.- Vehicle:

Winter testing duration was 5 months. Approximately 5,000 km were covered during that time.
Wear on leading edge of tread was minimal, around 5 on one and 2 on the other. Rears showed no wear at all. Overall tread wear was around 10% front and rear, so around percent, probably. I reckon Nitto handled winter pretty well – no worse than Michelin, in fact they were quieter and softer – felt more like a sticky tyre.

The review is honest. In loose snow, it digs in; the sideways skid doesn't hold, and it won't brake on ice and packed snow. On the plus side, it performed well on a wet snow and slush as tracks. I won't buy more of this tire. As for me, it's a complete failure, only suitable for racing.

- Excellent tire for our winters
(and that it's making noise is normal for siping)
the studs on the second year have worn off a bit (5 on one wheel, 3 on the other)- Vehicle:

Nitto Therma Spike in 215/50/17. In general, the tire has traveled about 3000 km in all road conditions as of this report, which is roughly 2 months of use, excluding extremely low temperatures (below -20°C in Moscow). I won't post any photos, it's all just pretty snow.
I recently went out of town on the weekend, conditions ranged from -2 to -6°C, with a thin layer of ice, sometimes covered

You need to get used to it. Car is complex - rear drive 2.5l. Braking distance on dry asphalt increases by 40-100cm. So be careful. But it gets traction in snow and ice. It enters turns stably. I recommend the tires.

The tire seemed to be alright, except that the spikes on the steering axle flew off within the first 2 weeks. Since I'm trying to depart as carefully as possible, since it's a pick-up, the rear is light, so skidding is inevitable. The grip is quite good, but the initial sound of the spikes when braking was rather disconcerting; I thought I was skidding, but it turned out I wasn't, and there's also some friction with the surface. Hello, I bought these Nitto NT SPK 225/60 R17 103T (studded)
tires in winter 2017. I installed these tires in icy conditions. The tread is excellent with a star pattern. After two seasons, almost no studs are left on two of the tires (30%).

Two seasons passed, no complaints, super tires. Sold the car along with the tires. The new owner starts calling me and complaining. Took another car, it's time to change the tires for winter. From now on, I will only be getting Nitto tires.

I live in an area with 9 months of winter in the mountains in a private house! Figure it out yourself!
+ After Hakka5 it's just blazing! Ice 5, Snow 5, Wet Snow 5, Blowing perfectly! Cost 5, almost forgot - Braking perfectly in any weather as on asphalt!!!!!
- Noisy, on a dry track the hakka is better!
