I've just finished winter season. I've driven 15400 km on studded tires. I've switched to summer tires on 03.05.18. I put the tires in the garage and didn't bother with them until 11.06.18 (decided to pick out stones from the tread). I picked out the stones, and in the process, checked how many studs were lost. On the rear wheels, everything is in place, on the front wheels I lost 4

We've beaten the winter, been on long trips and had plenty of snow and ice to deal with. Of course, there are downsides - the studs on the rear axle have been popping off, but that's probably just my aggressive driving style. The tire bites into deep and wet snow with confidence, and handles well on the highway. Braking is also very respectable. It doesn't overheat even in subzero temperatures.
