Previous summer tires AT Cooper Discovery after 60 thousand kilometers, it was time to change. I longed to choose between AT and MT. I clearly understood that on AT tires, it is much more comfortable on asphalt and dry off-road, but in the field, after rain, and especially in a hill, it's not much use. One day, returning from the dacha after a good rain, I was unable to climb a clay hill of 20° with a side slope, and here

The wheelset for the Montero Sport in 265/70/16 is quite good on dry roads at speeds up to 140 km/h, but on wet roads, the vehicle's maneuverability is severely compromised. When it comes to braking, the dry road braking is slightly worse than that of the Geolander G012, and on wet roads, the braking distance increases by approximately 20%. I'd like to note that the tire is quite loud at all speeds, but given its aggressive

Replacing the old Bighorn 762 with the new Bighorn 764.

The old one passed 40,000 km in a year and a half with a full tread, faded to the exact middle of the tread, and I really liked its softness and wear resistance, so I decided not to change the wheel brand or year by two or three years, hoping that this one would last as well…

The new 764 has the same softness at first glance

I mainly bought this tire for off-road use and it's doing its job well. It's very easy to get back on track after leaving the road and the movement on damp soil is confident. It also climbed a steep hill on damp soil without any problems. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I agree with others that this is a great all-terrain tire for people who drive mostly on asphalt but occasionally need to venture off-road. It's definitely pricey, but I'm happy with

Good tires hold the road well, don't wander off into the groove on the asphalt, (I mean the groove in the asphalt), handle wet roads perfectly, splash through puddles at speed without aquaplaning (or I didn't notice it). I've exceeded 140 km/h but didn't need to accelerate further, and such speeds are sufficient anyway. They start making noise around 110 km/h and above, but the noise isn't too annoying, especially when it's hot (there

If you're out on a hunting or just a casual drive, this tire is great, the road is predictable, quiet, very soft and comfortable, handling is top-notch (at speeds over 140 km/h when braking suddenly it slightly floats, but this tire isn't for racing).

The clay does not stick, it's clear what each one has to offer here...

Overall: loaded with a ton and got where I needed to go comfortably.

I'm in my second season. Wear is already about 50% used up. 50/50 usage, peak usage in spring and autumn on trips to the countryside. Much quieter than a similar Cooper, side walls are just as stiff, despite one stud getting caught by a nail. It also balances pretty well. I put more weight on a Cooper to balance it out. The traction matches the tread pattern, and it also cleans well.

Excellent tires for their budget. They behave decently in mud, with no visible wear after 5,000 km. I drive 80% on asphalt every day, and they balance acceptably for m/t wheels. The biggest downside for me with this tire is its acoustic effect, it howls loudly at speeds starting from 60 km/h, but I was prepared for this since I prioritized the tire's passability. I had Toyo Open Country M/T on another car, the tread pattern is very similar, but the Toyo was much quieter. I bought the tires in the summer and haven't used them in cold weather yet.

Good mud tires. To my taste, the side lugs are a bit weak, but overall, it's okay. I haven't been in heavy mud yet, but it handles sandy dirt roads perfectly. On asphalt, after 60, it starts to howl noticeably - for me, this is not a disadvantage, but it may bother someone. IMHO, there is no such thing as quiet MT tires. Don't expect super-precise handling from it, this is off-road tire, not a highway one. Overall, for its price, it's a quite worthy replacement for American brands.

The only thing - it seems to be a bit larger than the nominal size. I previously had Cooper Discoverer STT 32x11.5 R15 - almost nothing was rubbing. With these tires, I had to trim a piece of the fender liner and mudguards on the front arches. Either the Cooper is smaller or the Maxxis is larger.

I have already driven about 8000 km on the tread, on asphalt/mud/swamp/clay/sand. The tire is in good condition, with a normal noise level, about the same as my Nokian Nordman in the winter. The most impressive thing about this tire is that it doesn't wear down quickly on asphalt, unlike Cordiant tires, which would wear down very quickly. However, the tire is quite soft and comfortable, with a size of 31.5 on
