Tyre reviews Bridgestone Blizzak Ice. Page 6 161

Good city tires, did not drive much on the highway, but performed well there too. They work well in the snow. Chose them based on reviews as top-of-the-line. The tires were Japanese, although old, but were on sale and looked like they were well-maintained.

The tire handles the road well. I thought for a long time about whether to get a studded tire for driving in St. Petersburg or not. In the end, I decided on this tire. I drove all winter in the city, didn't go on the highway. I didn't experience any problems with slipping or getting stuck on rear-wheel drive once.

Tire is great! Holds well in turns, like in summer)))) It keeps the car very stable, grips the road tightly. Three seasons have passed and they're still intact, and the tread is not even half worn out. No aquaplaning at high speeds. Handles snow well. Not afraid of ice, will keep the car on the road and stop it easily.

Before that, there was Hakka, and after it, it's just a wonder, not a tire, there's no such silence and softness in the car, even in summer))) And I didn't notice any difference on ice and snowy roads to say explicitly that studded tires are better in any way. High-quality Bridgestone tires are in no way worse, and in some moments, they're even much better.

I drove the car with 230 horsepower through the season, thinking I'd have to switch to the rear when there was no snow and the weather was warm. However, they held up very well and didn't even wear out halfway, which is a record. It wears out very slowly. The grip is good on dry roads, sticks to ice well, doesn't let the car slide, holds the rear well when accelerating and doesn't start drifting. There was no side slipping, neither in the cold
