DescriptionDescription Shinko SR900
The Shinko SR900 model differs slightly in its scope of application compared to most of the tire products of this manufacturer. It is designed for ATVs, the operation of which is associated with frequent visits to heavy sandy and earthy soils. The main distinguishing feature of this model is the original tread pattern, equipped with a large number of soil hooks.
V-shaped tread pattern
As mentioned earlier, the key feature of this tire is the tread pattern, which has an original V-shaped design. It is formed by a multitude of blocks with a shape close to rectangular, which converge in the central part of the tread. This structure provides the tire with a number of advantages. First and foremost, it is good directional stability and low rolling resistance. In addition, it is impossible not to note the uniform distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, which provides the tire with additional passability on loose and unstable soils.
Robust and lightweight carcass
The use of modern synthetic materials in the carcass design is one of the distinctive features of Shinko's tire products. The SR900 is no exception to the rule, since its cord consists of four layers of nylon. This feature provides the tire with excellent reliability off-road, ensured by high resistance to punctures and cuts. In addition, the nylon cord has excellent elasticity, which allowed this model to have excellent ride smoothness.
Main features of the Shinko SR900 tire
- the tire was specifically created for ATVs;
- universality of application due to the optimized tread pattern with a V-shaped arrangement of elements;
- the block structure provides the contact patch with a large number of gripping edges. Due to this, the tire demonstrates excellent traction and coupling properties in the longitudinal direction;
- the converging tread blocks in the central part improve directional stability and reduce rolling resistance;
- the significant distance between the blocks allows the tread to independently get rid of even large stones, as well as other soil particles.
