The Nokian Line summer tire is a new-generation model that utilizes a range of cutting-edge developments from this renowned and respected Finnish manufacturer. This model is primarily designed for powerful passenger cars and is available in 45 sizes from 15 to 17 inches. As expected of a High-Performance tire, the new model boasts excellent technical characteristics, which are indirectly confirmed by its assigned speed indices of T, H, V, and W.

Compared to its predecessors, the new Nokian Line tire features a tread with an S-shaped asymmetric pattern that has undergone significant changes. In particular, the longitudinal ribs in the central part of the tread are equipped with innovative X-Block lamellas that perform two tasks. Firstly, the lamellas on the outer side of the tread, in combination with the stiff shoulder area construction, improve steering stability. At the same time, the new lamellas on the inner side of the tread significantly improve traction while reducing rolling resistance and noise level. When driving in rainy conditions, the X-Block lamellas increase the tire's resistance to aquaplaning by directing water from the contact patch into the main drainage grooves.

Additionally, to improve aquaplaning resistance, the transverse drainage grooves in the shoulder area on the outer side of the tread are equipped with special elliptical recesses called Swoop Grooves. This tread element allows for a significant increase in the volume of the grooves. As the tire wears, the recesses gradually increase in size, ensuring the effectiveness of the drainage grooves remains at the initial level throughout the tire's service life.

- The increased angle of the longitudinal drainage grooves' walls by 20 degrees improves stability during sudden maneuvers.
