The universal cargo tire of the French tire giant is designed for use on steering and driving axles of trucks and buses operating in urban conditions.

The tread pattern of the French cargo tire is dotted with longitudinal and transverse lamellae of a wavy shape, the sharp edges of which provide reliable traction on a slippery road, allowing the tire to be used both in winter and summer. For effective water and snow slush removal from the contact patch, the Michelin XZU+ tire is equipped with two longitudinal grooves. On the sidewall of the tire, there are wear indicators that will prompt the moment when the tire needs to be remounted or flipped on the rim.

Advantages of the Michelin XZU+ cargo tire

To prevent damage to the sidewall, characteristic of urban operation, the Michelin tire sidewall has an additional layer of rubber, which serves as a protective layer, protecting against damage caused by impacts and friction against curbs.

The composition of the rubber mixture is selected with a calculation for a long service life in urban conditions. Thanks to the application of a number of special technologies in the development, the Michelin XZU+ tire differs from its analogs with a prolonged service life, during which the operational characteristics do not deteriorate.
