The Michelin XM47 special tire is designed for wheel excavators, compact front and telescopic loaders, and other equipment used in a wide range of earthworks and cargo handling. It represents a universal model, effective both on dirt surfaces and on asphalt and concrete surfaces.

The tread pattern, although made in an open design, has a relatively small block height. Nevertheless, the large length and curved shape of the element walls provide excellent traction and stability on dirt. On the highway, this feature, combined with the optimized tread profile, reduces heat and rolling resistance, improving directional stability and handling comfort. Another important distinction of the tire is the carcass design. It is characterized by high rigidity and carrying capacity. In combination with the features of the tread design, this allows the tire to be used at speeds of up to 89 km/h.
