The commercial tire Michelin X MULTI Winter T is installed on the trailer axle. It is distinguished by a design adapted to operation during the winter-autumn period. It is intended for long-haul transportation. It is characterized by improved traction on winter roads, a long service life, and pronounced fuel-saving properties.

The central part of the tread contains a large number of "double wave" lamellas. The choice of name is due to the presence of slots in two planes. The additional cut of the tread limits the mobility of the blocks, ensuring their maximum contact with the road surface. As a result, in addition to increasing traction on slippery surfaces, it achieves high stability. As the tread wears out, the length of the slots decreases, but at the same time, the stiffness of the tread ribs and resistance to mechanical damage increase, and additional lamellas appear on their surface. They compensate for the decrease in traction properties.

The tread is made of a "Carbion" rubber mixture. Special components at the molecular level enhance the strength of the break and stretch. As a result, the tread effectively resists abrasive wear, and the risk of puncture, cut, and tear is extremely low.

The life cycle of the tire can be increased. Thanks to the increased thickness of the tread, its pattern can be restored by re-grooving. Its depth is at least 3 mm, and the width of the grooves is up to 10 mm, depending on the tire's mounting diameter.
