DescriptionDescription Michelin Bibsteel Hard Surface
The Michelin Bibsteel Hard Surface special tire is designed for telescopic handlers, wheel excavators, and side loaders. It is characterized by increased carrying capacity and strength, comfort when moving over uneven terrain, and high traction properties on unstable bulk surfaces. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency on hard surfaces.
The tread pattern has a radial design, which is most effective when working on hard surfaces. It is made in a combined way. The solid longitudinal rib located in the middle reduces heat and rolling resistance when moving at high speed. The open shoulder areas contain massive blocks with elongated curved walls. These elements increase traction properties on bulk unstable surfaces, while moving in both directions. Significant voids between the blocks prevent soil particles from getting stuck in the tread, maintaining high passability. Another feature is the use of a fully metal frame. This increases the carrying capacity and also prevents tire damage during operation in harsh conditions.
Main features of Michelin Bibsteel Hard Surface
- radial construction provides high performance on hard surfaces;
- a fully metal frame increases the carrying capacity and resistance of the tire to damage;
- a special rubber compound with high resistance to wear, punctures, and tears increases the mileage of the tire in harsh operating conditions
