DescriptionDescription Goodyear IF Ultra Sprayer
Agricultural tires Goodyear IF Ultra Sprayer, produced by one of the leaders of the global tire industry, are designed for the widest range of modern tractor models and other special agricultural equipment. This model is produced in seven most popular sizes, ranging from IF320/90R46 to IF380/105R50.
Since the tire is designed for installation on the driving axles of tractors operated on soft and unstable soils, its tread is equipped with a symmetrical directional pattern with a V-shaped design. The tread pattern of the Goodyear IF Ultra Sprayer consists of many blocks of increased area, differing in massive sizes and angled at 45 degrees relative to the direction of movement. This scheme of arrangement of tread blocks in combination with their configuration allows for easy handling of the enormous torque developed by modern tractor engines, without allowing wheel spin.
Another key feature of this model is the soft sidewalls, which reduce the degree of damage caused to the soil by the tire. The more elastic sidewalls allow the tire to withstand 20 percent more load than tires with a RI category tread at the same soil pressure. In addition, the tire can withstand the same load as standard agricultural tires when the pressure is reduced by 20 percent. At the same time, the sidewalls are distinguished not only by their elasticity but also by their excellent strength, which has allowed the maximum speed to be increased to 65 km/h.
Main features of the Goodyear IF Ultra Sprayer model
- The aggressive V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern is specially optimized for operation on soft and unstable soils;
- The enormous distance between the tread blocks has minimized the risk of tread clogging, which has significantly improved the passability, especially on sand and mud;
- Soft sidewalls allow reducing the soil pressure while increasing the carrying capacity, which has significantly reduced the amount of damage caused to the soil by the tire;
- Massive tread blocks are angled at 45 degrees relative to the direction of movement, which allows the tire to very effectively convert the enormous torque of the tractor engine into forward motion, without allowing wheel spin.
