However, the Belshina Bel-95 is much better suited for operation off paved roads. This can be judged by its tread pattern, which features a characteristic open non-directional design with a multitude of individual elements. Depending on their belonging to one or another functional zone, they have different shapes and sizes.

In particular, the central part features blocks of complex polygonal shape and massive size. On the one hand, this increases the size of the contact patch and, accordingly, traction on asphalt roads, and on the other hand, it provides the tire with a multitude of differently directed gripping edges, which, in combination with a large distance between blocks, gives the tire good traction and coupling properties off-road.

In turn, the shoulder zones contain trapezoidal blocks. In combination with their transverse arrangement and large distance from each other, this provides the tire with excellent traction on sandy and soil grounds, as well as increases the tire's carrying capacity and prevents uneven wear.
