Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Aufine ST957
The primary "target audience" of the Aufine ST957 truck tire is various special equipment used in construction. First and foremost, these are dump trucks, where this model is installed on the driving axles. In such specific operating conditions, it demonstrates excellent traction and coupling properties on sandy and earthy road surfaces at low operating costs, due to its long service life, reliability, and fuel efficiency.
Arrow-shaped blocks in the center of the tread
One of the characteristic features of the symmetrical directional tread pattern is the design of its central part. It contains a large number of arrow-shaped blocks connected by a rigid bridge. This design feature allows to significantly reduce the rolling resistance, while maintaining high directional stability and traction properties in the longitudinal direction.
Wide shoulder areas with an open design
In contrast to the central part, the shoulder areas of the Aufine ST957 tread have a slightly different structure due to the tasks they perform. Their design is distinguished by the presence of a large number of very massive blocks, collected in groups of two separate tread elements. This allows forming very long transverse edges of the tread in the shoulder areas, which, in combination with a significant distance between them, gives the tire excellent traction on sandy and earthy soils.
Long service life
As mentioned earlier, this model is beneficially distinguished by a long service life. It is mainly achieved due to special components in the composition of the rubber mixture, which gives the tread increased resistance to abrasive wear, punctures, and cuts. Another factor that determines the tire's service life is the tread pattern, which ensures very even distribution of the external load over the contact patch, thereby increasing resistance to uneven wear.
Main features of the Aufine ST957 tire
- the tire was specifically designed for operation on the driving axles of trucks used in construction;
- the arrow-shaped blocks of the central part of the tread, connected by rigid bridges, reduce rolling resistance without compromising directional stability and traction;
- the massive blocks of the shoulder areas form very long transverse edges during movement, which, in combination with a large distance between them, provides the tire with excellent off-road capability on loose and unstable soils.
