There were even more changes in the technical specifications. The key ones were the modernized XU series engines, which received an updated fuel injection system. The suspension featured improved lever mounts, which had a positive effect on directional stability. The range of versions was expanded due to the "charged" versions Mi16 and T16. The latter was equipped with a 2-liter petrol engine with a turbocharger, the control program of which provided a 45-second power increase to 220 horsepower from the initial 200 horsepower.
