Tyre reviews Yokohama WY01. Page 1 49

I bought tires for the GAZelle Next bus CMC. I drive on intercity roads, through mountains, dangerous sections, and so on, as they say, all the delights of winter roads are present. The tire definitely deserves attention. It "drives" like a tank and nothing can stop it, side skids, both front and rear, are not particularly predictable. If you drive at a normal pace, there are no hints of skidding. If you start up a hill on ice or slippery surface, you can't even try, it skids and slips. We drive onto snow, onto the shoulder, and forward, it starts moving calmly on snow. After winter, I also drove on them in summer, it was quite normal. I think some wheels have traveled over 130,000 km. By the way, I forgot to say, the tire is very quiet, it doesn't annoy at all.

Everything is fine except that Mosavtochina can send tires with a 3-year production date, please do not repeat my mistake, please clarify the production date with the managers.

Rear-wheel drive Mercedes won't move at all on snow! Pulls off the brakes, a bit better when loaded. Braking is in order. Not recommended!

The tyre is just class! Mounted on a Toyota 2012 minivan, the driver is absolutely satisfied with it, 100%. Another set was installed on a Kia Bongo with the same result. The third set was fitted on a Ford Torneo Custom. Didn't have a chance to test it on ice, but it brakes and accelerates smoothly on frozen ice, easily pushes through the slush with the front drive axle, and performs flawlessly in the snowy mess! Time will tell about

Very polite staff, which is very important now. Talking to the driver with respect, even though lots of people start to get rough. The driver is happy and thrilled. Well done.

He chose the tire for winter because it would be mostly driving on asphalt between towns at temperatures between 0 to -40 degrees Celsius. The mileage is still low. At -35 degrees, it holds well on the road and the handling is normal. On the city's closed streets, not very good, but looking at the tread pattern, he understood that ice is not its habitat. Braking is predictable. At the moment, I'm satisfied with the tires, and I don't lower the ratings

It confidently gains speed on ice, doesn't slip. It also handles well on wet snow. Let's see what the wear will be over time, but for now I've only had positive impressions from it. Confidence behind the wheel is ensured.

Decent. With good traction. Drives through snow/snowmash well. Handles icy surfaces well, doesn't slip. I have these on my Mercedes Sprinter. For 2 seasons, it's been fine, hasn't worn out, resistant to wear.

Good grip, manageable and predictable rubber. On my personal car, I have studded tires, but you can't put those on a work vehicle. However, Yokohama performs no worse. The tires themselves have been on my work GAZelle for the second year already, but personally, I've been driving on them for the first time. I liked them.

I'm satisfied with this tire. I installed it last year and have been driving on it since mid-October this season. With unstable temperatures, it doesn't float, and confidently handles asphalt, wet roads, and dirt. Snow and compacted ice are not a problem for it, it holds very confidently, doesn't slip and doesn't aquaplane. There have been a couple of instances of wheelspin, but that's minor. Braking is predictable. I haven't encountered pure ice in my practice, so I can't evaluate it in this regard.
