Tyre reviews Yokohama Ice Guard IG35+. Page 3 224

4 sets were purchased, with each set covering a mileage of around
80,000 km for the season (October-May), mostly on highways. Not a single puncture was experienced during this period, but a significant loss of tread was noticed. Otherwise, everything was fine, with no instances of skidding. For the average driver, this would be a good choice, with a very reasonable price tag.

Excellent tire.
Bought all 4 new, for winter. During balancing, it required 10gr. of weights per wheel. Directional tread, edges are quite sharp. Self-cleaning tread pattern and a lot of small sipes.
Pros:
+ Soft, but does not float. Well absorbs seams, joints, small potholes.
+ Excellent directional stability.
+ Excellent snow and ice traction. Allows a lot.

Hello everyone! I bought these tyres just before the snow and I'm not regretting it. They're great, soft tyres for winter, and they stay soft even at -25°C. No studs have fallen off yet, and I've already driven 1080 km on various roads, with snow and asphalt.

Tires are not bad, like the tread design, hold the road well, and are relatively quiet. The minus is that they get clogged with debris and lose some stability.

Noisy, increased fuel consumption. Disappointed. Would not recommend to a friend. Size: 215/65R16. Rated 4 for durability due to low mileage.

The model I'm currently using is an improvement over the Yokohama IG20, which I previously used until it wore out. IG35+ was recommended as a better alternative. To be honest, I didn't have any complaints about the previous tire, except that it was getting old. The IG35+ is holding the road well, and it's suitable for both city roads and snow-covered roads, where it performs well too. Overall, it's a two-out-of-two thumbs up.

These tires are just great! On snowy Moscow roads with full-time four-wheel drive, they chew through snow and ice like a beaver. I'm sure they'd handle permanent front-wheel drive just as well, but with the rear-wheel drive, I might accidentally drift and see the rear of my car on an unclean road in a snowstorm. Still, the car quickly gets back on track because the tires and studs do their job. Overall, I really like these tires!

The tire is great! It's used on a heavy-duty pickup truck. Handling is simply great. I rarely engage four-wheel drive as the rear wheels just spin up the snowdrifts!

At first, the low price was a bit of a concern. This model was the cheapest in the list of imported tires (excluding China), but I decided to take the risk and purchase them! I'm not sorry! I highly recommend these good tires, and most importantly, the price!
