Tyre reviews Yokohama Ice Guard IG35+. Page 2 224

Excellent soft tire, doesn't harden in the cold, holds well on the road, whether on ice, packed snow, or snowdrifts like a tank. But it may also depend on the car. I would buy it now even for a new car, but I don't have my size. Excellent tire, I recommend.

Really good tire, ran on it for 2 seasons, the studs are still in place, holds the road perfectly, in terms of noise I compared it to Hankook, with Hakkapeliitta, Yokohama is much quieter. Does not freeze in the cold. Brought a friend even newer IG55, he was very pleased.

Tires are hydroplaning, there are blown tires, I'm driving at 120 km/h max. It's unstable on the track. Size is 205 but the tread is narrow. Previously I had Hankooks, which had a wider tread and were more stable. But this one even on asphalt gives me skidding when accelerating. I would not recommend buying!

Good tires, the expenditure is justified. True, in strong frost -35 to -40, on the asphalt they brake badly, a long braking path is obtained. The studs are all in place, driven 160 km/h. They hold the road well. I'm sure they behave on a snowy road.

Good tyres.....18 radius was got for 5 thousand...plus free wheel alignment! A bit noisy, but it's not critical for me...already managed to test it on ice and snow. Handles like a tank. Based on reviews, the main thing is to try to keep the studs for the first 500-600 km without sudden starts and stops!

Hello.
For the past six years I've been driving on Kumho tires, so I can only compare them objectively to the Yokohama.
The Yokohama is noticeably quieter which is all good about it.
This Yokohama is noticeably stiffer than the Kumho, even though I run the pressure lower.
But the main thing is that it handles the road much worse, and that's the main indicator for me.

I put the tire on when the first hints of frost appeared in early October. I drive carefully, mostly in the city, and I'm satisfied with all its features. The only thing that changed is the sound from the wheels, but it's not critical and mainly on dry asphalt. That's why I recommend it! Prior to this, I used a stud, and the traction on ice was much worse.

Great tires. Holds the road on ice like on dry asphalt. Wanted to buy Nokian Hakkapeliitta, but no point in overpaying.

I would buy these tires again as they are the most affordable tire brand in comparison to Japanese manufacturers, but not lacking in terms of features.

Everything is great!
There will always be positive and negative reviews.
It all depends on what car the tire is installed on and how you drive.
