Tyre reviews Yokohama Guardex F700Z. Page 4 143

The worst tires even among domestic ones. They can't handle any road, except loose snow. When you slightly press the brake on a slippery road, they skid and the ABS starts beeping immediately. On turns, they drift significantly. More than 50% of the studs on the front tires have come off in just one season of operation!!! Yokohama doesn't know how to make winter tires IN GENERAL, I DON'T RECOMMEND BUYING THESE TIRES TO ANYONE!!! Save

Performs well on soft snow, bites upon it.
On ice, always keep a safe distance when braking, we would like it to get a better grip.

Satisfied with the tyre. It's predictable on any winter road. It passes the water smoothly without any jolts and without any sudden braking. On ice, the braking distance is acceptable and the car does not swerve when braking.

A worthy model from Yokohama. It's ideal for the far north where there's almost a year-round snow and ice. And that's where I happen to live. It doesn't harden at low temperatures, it's easy to handle on the car and it always keeps the road securely under control.

I live in an extreme northern region. Snow and ice for 8 months of the year, so the off-road capability of winter tires is increased almost twofold. Nevertheless, I have been driving the Guardex F700Z for three years now, and it still holds up beautifully on the road. I often have to drive on snow-covered roads, as they are not always cleared in time.

I bought the tyres at a dealer’s showroom when I purchased the car in 2012.
Now the odometer reads 120,000 km. I drive all year round.
Based on the climatic conditions of operation (Arkhangelsk region),
I put on studded tyres from mid-October to mid-May.
Almost half of the average annual mileage is on studded tyres. When the dealer offered me this tyre, I was- Vehicle:

Good traction on packed snow. Don't like slush. Looks like the tread pattern is aggressive, but traction isn't great. Not bad in turns. Good tread wear. Keeps studs.
