I bought this Yokohama for my hunting truck because it handles nothing better off-road, and it handles deep snow like a pro, with all the studs still in place (I've had it for two years now), probably because I don't drive it on pavement much...the noise is moderate, as it should be with studs.

Impressions from the tire are only positive, it has shown itself well both in city slush and on the highway. Among the minuses I've identified small problems with braking on ice, and at speeds above 170 km/h, the car starts to waggle on the track, plus it's too noisy! Overall, the tire is suitable for operation!!! I recommend it.

It would be nice if the price was lowered. Normal tires are fine in all modes, but they do float a bit when braking on ice, but almost everything floats on it, and when starting on ice they tend to skid, so you need to start carefully. Excellent studded tire, ran 10.000 km over winter. Very happy with everything. Got stuck in snowdrift a couple of times, grips great. In the end: didn't lose a single stud over winter! Everything is great! Price was well worth it!

Honestly, I'm disappointed with this tire. After two seasons (40000 km) not a single tread has been left, although I drive carefully, passing on the garage. The first 10000 km, it seemed to be a good tire, but after a small wear and loss of 50% tread, the car stopped gripping the road. Prior to this were Nordman 4, I've driven almost 150000 km.

Philippine Tires... Good! Served 3 winters, 80% tread remaining (if you’re the type who loses tread in one season, you shouldn’t be driving until you get a new brain!!! You have to treat them gently, just like all other tires). They handle well on ice, better on snow, but become difficult to handle on asphalt around 0 degrees Celsius, you have to be aware of their limitations!

In the first season, not a single stud flew off, in the second one, 5 studs flew off, I spun out with the handbrake on. The road holds well in any frost, but when it warms up, it becomes too soft. It doesn't brake on asphalt with reagents at all, I got into an accident at 55-60 km/h (I got cut off). I'm generally satisfied.

The tyre is very good! I've driven on it for 4 winters, retreaded in October and April. 15% of tread is worn off, soft and rides well on any surface, holds high speeds (up to 100-120 km/h) on snowy roads. It's equal to the Michelin X-Ice in my opinion. The car is a VAZ 2106 1.6.
