A great example of how something should be done: cheap and mean! As for these tires - they've earned every penny. Excellent manufacturing quality. The rubber doesn't freeze, I drove at -31 and everything was fine. The tread is firmly set. The tread pattern is great, it snows and grips well, and grips well. They brake and start confidently, especially on black ice due to the studs. They hold a course, they don't veer off on these tires.

I'm happy with the tires, there's nothing to complain about. First of all, I was pleased with the price, the set came out to be budget-friendly. The traction on snow is excellent, and on black ice they're very grippy. There's some noise, of course, from the studs on asphalt. They're durable and don't wear down quickly. After one and a half winters I can compare these tyres to the previous ones with the same mileage. Those were Tunga tyres and almost all studs fell off in this period, and grip was lost completely. Viatti tyres are holding up well in this regard, with only 5 studs having fallen off from each wheel at most. High-quality tires, made without defects, strong treads, good-quality rubber, balanced within acceptable limits, therefore, its running properties are not bad. I would also rate as very good its grip on snow, stability on turns, in curves and for winter tires it holds the course on the road well.

Bought tires for the sake of economy, but they turned out to be very good. The strongest feature is the adhesion, which is ensured by both the tread and the studs. Braking and starting are controlled, with a minimum of deviation. The studs are embedded firmly, and the rubber doesn’t freeze. They were balanced within 25-30g per wheel.

Winter tires, so too should the tread compound be winter-specific, pardon the tautology, and with these characteristics it's all good (down to minus 33 precisely). The studs are very robust on their own, with losses over the season totaling 4-5 pieces from the entire set. It rides confidently on loose snow, as one would expect from a stud, and ice doesn't pose a particular problem, provided coordination and speed are maintained.

I bought it for my Ford Focus to replace the old tire. I've driven on it for a season now, and the difference is very noticeable, in a positive way, considering its relatively low price. I drive on ice without much concern and it grips well (the tire does have studs after all). On loose snow, it just spins out if I can't make it up, but I always back out instead, and I've never gotten stuck. I'm very pleased with this tire.

I've already driven two winters on the Solis on these tires. What I liked was that the wear is even and the studs are holding up. These are the main advantages for such an inexpensive tire.
