So far, I'm completely satisfied, the season for new tires has just begun. Bought Nordico 2, 215/50R17 tires, for a Subaru Legacy. Other options were more expensive. Already seen snow and ice. Just wet roads and snowy slush. So far, everything is clear, without losing control. Even more confident in my decision, will keep driving into winter.

I had to urgently change my old winter tires due to an irreparable puncture of two wheels at once. I have Viatti summer tires, I don't remember the model now. The tires are good, I've already driven 4 seasons, after Bridgestone I didn't feel the difference.
I decided to try winter tires from the same manufacturer. I saw Viatti Nordico 2 205/55 R16 94T.
The first trip was before the snow on wet asphalt at +5. The first impression - the tires are like tires, a bit noisy.
Before that, I drove on excellent studded winter tires - SAVA Eskimo Stud, they are quieter, previously this model was produced by GoodYear. I also drove on the GoodYear version of this model, but R14, on my wife's car.
I was able to evaluate the real behavior of Viatti tires when the road became icy, and then snowy. I've been driving since Soviet times, I have some experience to compare.
Viatti really impressed me. It handles well on ice. I specially tried to make the car skid on a snowy turn (within reasonable limits, of course) - the turn holds.
It brakes excellently, ABS engages less often than on old tires, you can hear the studs crunching, but the wheel doesn't lock up. On snow, it grips well, and doesn't wander at speed.
Also, there is another obvious feature of this tire - it is predictable (within the limits of a careful winter driving style - I didn't try extreme driving), there are no sudden skids, no blocking, everything happens according to a smooth linear dependence on the driving mode.
But you need to understand that, all things being equal, new tires give a better impression compared to old ones, in this case, there is a subjective moment of evaluation.
Also, for now, it's impossible to assess how the wheels will behave after significant wear, how the studs will hold up, whether the tire geometry will change over time.
But for myself, I noted that at the moment my new tires give me confidence on the road.
I'm very happy with my choice.

Although I installed them only at the beginning of the season, I've already driven almost 2000 miles, mostly on the highway. In the city, with the first snow of winter, they performed very well, being maneuverable and controllable. On the highway, they've shown themselves to be good so far. During my trip, I drove on dry, wet, and snowy asphalt. The handling was satisfactory everywhere, the speed was controllable, and the tires held the road steadily. The tires are good.

When buying, upon external inspection, it inspired confidence, soft, visually everything is of high quality and perfectly round. Balancing showed that everything is normal, the weights were enough up to 22 grams. Winter came late, so I drove calmly. Then on the highway on dry and wet roads at speed, they drive normally, the sensations are, of course, different compared to summer ones, the main thing is that they hold the trajectory. When snow falls and ice forms, there is contact, the studs grip. So, for now, everything is fine. Tires 205/55R16

After the first frost, I drive more confidently. The speed is still controlled in bad weather, and now there is more confidence that the tires are really good. Snow, both fresh and immediately melting at the beginning of the season, passes well. The tires maintain contact with different surfaces. Where I had time to drive, there are no questions about the movement on the roads. Installed and purchased this year 225/50 R17, HONDA Accord.

Ford Focus, new Nordico 2 - 195/65 R15. The lightweight and quick installation pleased even the tire fitters. At first, I drove on dry and wet roads, the movement was normal. It showed itself stably on ice and the first snow. Then, in the frosts, it retained its softness and performance. It holds the road at all temperatures and intense precipitation. Good grip, keeps the trajectory, checked the studs, not a single one came off.

The season hasn't started yet, but so far everything is fine.
