Tyre reviews Pirelli Winter Ice Zero. Страница 2 2376

I've been driving on these tires all autumn and winter! I've covered over 13,000 km on these tires. It turned out that Pirelli Winter Ice Zero 185/60 R15 is the worst tire I've ever had! This winter, I was spun around 20 times on ice, with my car sliding across the road! Any ice bump on the road leads to my car being thrown off course, and even if I hit a small ice patch, my car is spun around, either the front or the back, and I never know which way it will go. I've had several close calls on these tires on ice, and even driving slowly on ice leads to spinning and loss of control - these tires are very dangerous on ice! Now I have a phobia because of these tires, and when I see a patch of ice on the road, I think I'm going to crash.
On the other hand, they perform great on snow, they grip like a tractor! On dry asphalt, they're also fine!
However, I've had a huge problem with the noise from these tires - it's extremely loud! In my TOYOTA VITZ, it's impossible to drive over 70-80 km/h and have a conversation, the noise in the cabin is unbearable! It's impossible to drive at 100 km/h, my head starts to hurt from the incredibly loud noise! Maybe in a car with good sound insulation, this wouldn't be a problem, but in my TOYOTA VITZ, which has no sound insulation, this noise is extremely critical!
On the other hand, the studs are all still in place after autumn and winter, the tire hasn't cracked, even in the areas where the studs are, everything looks like new! Yes, there are no bulges and no punctures, the sidewall is good, the tire hasn't been warped, but the behavior on ice and the noise - it's a disaster.
I'm going to sell my Pirelli Winter Ice Zero 185/60 R15 and buy MICHELIN X-ICE NORTH 4 185/65 R15, even if MICHELIN is twice as expensive as Pirelli, but for TOYOTA VITZ, Pirelli tires are completely unsuitable, I strongly advise against buying them for this car.- Vehicle:

The first impression of the tire repair at home.
A dream and a song!!! 15km of icy slush, icy asphalt and a grader.
Everything is great!!! Such a rubber I have never had before! And the noise is just like any studded tyre.
I recommend to everyone! After the winter I will add a review.- Vehicle:

I'm using the second season. The tires are just great. Tested and compared on the same car with Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7, the Hakkapeliitta is simply not driveable on ice. After the test, all my friends immediately changed to Winter Ice Zero tires. Only a friend got R16 and it was made in Russia, but it seems the quality is no different, he is happy. The studs are almost all in place.

The review is based on a comparison with Hakka 5 and Nordman 5.7 tires.
The tires perform well on ice, starting from a standstill without slipping. On a snowy road, if you press the accelerator sharply, they dig in. They hold the track, don't throw, and the entry into the rut is soft.
Among the main drawbacks: the hum on asphalt is really tangible, and it's also present on icy roads. I haven't gotten used to it over this season. If you drive long distances, your head gets tired from this hum.

I've been riding on such tires 7 years ago. In search of a quiet ride on studs, I then changed to another one. And I can say that if there are studs, there will be no ideal silence. In any case, I didn't win anything in my search, having changed Pirelli to Nokian and then to Michelin. As a result, this year I returned to Pirelli. For its price and behavior on the road, I'm ready to forgive the problem with the noise of the studs. It's impossible to give up on studs, I have to drive all winter and a lot. When you leave early in the morning on a business trip, before the road workers wake up, it's priceless to be able to drive without problems on uncleared roads.

Bought for a Duster, chose for a long time so that the tires could do a lot. Didn't make a mistake. Except when buying, I was warned - if you want a lot from the tires, you have to sacrifice something. And that's noise. It howls greatly. But if you turn up the music louder - you're having a blast. It grips simply wildly, on ice it behaves like claws, not just studs. Not afraid of wet asphalt at all, but a bit vague on dry and warm. However, in frost down to -33, it behaves very adequately, which was surprising. It still wanders a bit in the rut, but within reasonable limits. In short, if you're taking tires for all occasions - it's great. If you only drive in the city, on the highway, and love acoustic comfort - look for an alternative, otherwise you'll get tired of it.

Hello everyone, I'd like to share my impressions of the tires. The first thousand kilometers were run-in according to all the rules, at a speed of up to 80-90 km/h, without wheel spin and sharp braking. The first 500-600 km were on asphalt, which showed that they are very noisy, I think it's because of the different stud configuration! Then the snow fell, and it became quieter!!!
On the snow, the run-in was felt with not very significant skidding when turning. And also, there was a feeling that the rubber pouring of some of the wheels was not uniform, in terms of the thickness of the tread layer! There was a vibration!!! Now it seems to have disappeared??? In terms of the quality of grip with the surface, I would rate it 10 out of 10 (snow, asphalt, incline ???).
The noise seems to have disappeared or I just got used to it, I'd rate it 7 out of 10.
So I recommend them, in my opinion, the tires are excellent!

Tires have seen last season practically without losing studs (a couple of them don't count!) and without damage to the sidewalls - for the state of our roads, tires are perfect, indestructible and strong. Also, they have extremely confident behavior and safety. Any road conditions by weather do not pose any difficulties, the tires work perfectly and on snow, and on ice, and in a slushy wet mess. Quite durable. Ran about 25,000 km, left some for

Once again, I confirmed that nothing beats studs for ice and that Pirelli studs are the best. Not only on ice, but also on snow and just on wet asphalt, it takes a lot of effort to spin out, and most importantly, the studs hold very well. Usually after three winters, I had 30% of my studs left, but here I have all of them without any issues.

Pirelli Winter Ice Zero 225/55 R16 99T XL (studded) is even with a relatively small profile of 55% extremely soft, quiet, yes, quiet compared to Nokian 8, holds the road equally well, simply perfect. A lot of experience has been gained by trying probably all winter tires that are in high demand and hyped like Nokian 8, Pirelli does not advertise at all and the tire is simply perfect. Holds
