They are very loud when retreading, and otherwise are standard MTs, I've already cycled through two sets.

Not bad, just too heavy.

It's impossible to drive on snow in the second winter season. Tire tread pattern is normal but no longer holds on snow (worn down and black ice). Excellent tire in the summer.

Rounded sidewall, never a single puncture, very durable, excellent on asphalt, excellent on sand, on weak soils, does not ride on hard mud (compared to simexes), and so it is a great tire - for daily driving on asphalt with occasional off-road excursions!

If for a city outing (garden, picnic) then Kumho 71 is better, though it is softer and wears out faster.

I've been running it for 2 years, not changing between winter and summer, and everything is working out pretty well.

Back in the day when 31s were $5600 they were good value for the price. Now, at $10,000 a tyre, I'd say go for the cheaper Korean ones. You can get Goodrich for $10.
