Excellent tire, fully justifies itself
Excellent tire. Ran 40,000 km. Holds well. Maybe it's noisy, as they write, but I didn't notice. Even drove in light frost. Even struck me with its good result. I think I'll buy the same one, but for winter.

He bought XL (Extra Load) tires for the Kolyma Highway. The tires are well-suited for summer use on gravel roads. They are very resistant to punctures and cuts from sharp stones. However, they are very noisy on asphalt, have a "wooden" sound, and quickly wear out. On wet asphalt, they have average handling. Do not handle at all on mud, snow, and ice.

This summer tyre is only suitable for asphalt riding during the summer. In the south, you can still drive in the winter, but not on snow or ice. Factory-fitting such tyres on four-wheel drive vehicles is nonsense! They are morally killed by the noise at high speeds, the constant ABS activation when driving on a wet, uneven road, and loss of control when driving on mud.

If it weren't for the strong aquaplaning and unpredictability in heavy rain - it would be alright.
However, the tire is very durable, not very noisy, holds high speeds well and is still strong.

Honestly, the tire is rubbish, the worst I've seen so far:
1) Very noisy
2) Water wading is normal for it, aquaplaning is guaranteed on 2nd gear, not to mention a long drive along the highway, with hands shaking from impacts on puddles 1 cm deep.
3) Uneven wear (took the car to the service center and was told there was nothing wrong with it, and it's still got a few- Vehicle:

Unsatisfactory evaluation.
Mazda 3, 2 seasons of operation, 60% wear.
Indicators:
- As wear increases, braking distance increases significantly.
- Unstable during turns on wet surface.
- Loss of traction with dirt on the road.
- Increased noise levels.
- A wet road combined with tram rails is a death sentence for an unprepared driver.

Aquaplaning if at 80 km/h with slightly worn tires. Worn down to 1.6 mm after 38,000 km on the rear wheel of a driven vehicle, but the front wheels still have a lot to go. Fantastic grip and handling on dry autobahn at 230 km/h also in tight corners. Slides in sharp wet corners only at 20 km/h (carefully).

I don't know why Mazda bothers fitting these tyres for the British market, come winter time with snow and ice the car feels like Bambi on ice. I know this is a summer tyre test but I at least prefer tyres that give some grip in the winter months. I would definitely buy this tyre again, not on my life, it's far too short lived as this!

I sincerely don't understand how it's possible to rate this tire as excellent when driving on a wet road, unless you're driving at 40 km/h or never drive in the rain at all! The tire is only good for city driving, it's better not to venture onto the highway!

Bridgestone Turanza ER30
I have a Vectra C, I've driven 37,000 km, of which 25,000 km on Turanza in the summer and 12,000 km on Gislaved in the winter. The Turanza has worn out by at least 50%. I've gotten used to the characteristics of driving on this tire, but such rapid wear on "not exactly cheap tires" shouldn't become a habit.
Pros: handles
