I purchased these tires at the beginning of the 2017 season. They are worthy tires, and the handling on snow was pleasing. The studs were all in place at the end of winter, and there are no chips.

Compared to Kumho (which I used previously), it's a few times better. I lost zero studs through the season (previous ones were 10-15%). Tires are soft enough to grip the road well, but maybe a bit less so when there's a lot of snow on the road.

I bought this tire after using Bridgestone Blizzak Revo GZ. Wish I hadn't. It doesn't handle side slips at all. Even at a slow speed from a stop, the ESP cuts in. It handles snow a bit better but still nowhere near as good as the Blizzak.
