Pirelli Winter Sottozero II 245/35 R20 95V RF
Specifications
DescriptionDescription Pirelli Winter Sottozero II 245/35 R20 95V RF
The Pirelli Winter Sottozero II winter tire is designed for dynamic versions of passenger cars. It stands out with balanced driving characteristics, demonstrating, along with reliable traction and precise handling, a high level of acoustic comfort and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern has an asymmetric design with a division into functional areas. One of them is the shoulder zone on the inside with multidirectional blocks. It increases traction and directional stability on snow. In turn, the blocks in the shoulder zone on the outside improve handling and traction properties when maneuvering on dry and wet roads.
The entire tread is dotted with narrow slits - so-called IBS lamellas. They are distinguished by the ability to limit the mobility of the entire block as a whole. As a result, on icy roads, not only traction but also handling is improved, and the car becomes responsive to the driver's actions.
When manufacturing the rubber mixture, the TDC technology is used. The inclusion of special polymers in the composition made it possible to increase the temperature range at which the tread has optimal elasticity, which ensures maximum traction.
Main features of Pirelli Winter Sottozero II
- asymmetric directional tread pattern is effective in any road conditions;
- a multitude of self-locking lamellas improve traction and handling on icy roads;
- "thermodynamic" compound provides optimal traction in various weather conditions.
