Its shape is selected using computer modeling tools, not only increasing the size of the contact patch but also ensuring a maximally uniform contact with the road surface. Firstly, this increases the stability of traction, especially during maneuvering, and secondly, it slows down the process of abrasive wear of the tread, thereby increasing the tire's mileage.
