Imperial Ecodriver sport 225/50 R17 98W

The development of the Imperial Ecodriver Sport summer tire was carried out in conjunction with specialists from the Belgian company Deldo Autobanden. The model, designed for dynamic versions of passenger cars, is distinguished by a combination of characteristics of sports and "green" tires.

The tire tread has an asymmetric design. The offset rigid longitudinal ribs on the outer side increase the directional stability and accuracy of handling at high speeds. The drainage grooves, mainly located on the inner side of the pattern, provide stable traction properties on wet pavement.

The tire tread is made of a rubber compound with the "talking" name Silica Sport, which, in addition to an increased amount of silica, includes polymers. This formula improves road grip at high temperatures, increases resistance to abrasive wear, and at the same time reduces rolling resistance. The increased proportion of "silica" allows the tire to retain its elasticity with temperature changes, providing stable behavior in both heat and cool weather.

The carcass construction is created using modern technology - an enhanced breaker structure with the use of steel cords and a nylon cord. This increases strength, resistance to deformation at high speeds, and improves pressure distribution across the contact patch, preventing uneven wear. When winding the nylon cord, a technology is applied that allows avoiding the formation of seams and joints. This ensures stability of traction properties and a smooth ride even with aggressive driving.
