The summer passenger tire Hankook RA33, like its predecessor model Dynapro HP, is designed for vehicles with increased cross-country ability, operated on roads with predominantly asphalt pavement. In addition, this tire fully complies with the new European requirements, which, in particular, introduced a new marking.

High-performance drainage system

This model is distinguished by increased resistance to aquaplaning, which is ensured by a high-performance drainage system. The Hankook RA33 Dynapro HP2 tire consists of four longitudinal channels that serve as a kind of reservoir, from which water is discharged to the outside through numerous transverse channels. They are located at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement, which significantly increases the speed of removal of excess moisture from the contact patch.

Rigid central rib

In order to ensure high directional stability, South Korean specialists equipped the tread pattern with an additional longitudinal rib, located right in its center. Due to the absence of any breaks throughout its length, this tread element has high resistance to deformation changes. Thanks to this ability, the tire is distinguished not only by excellent directional stability at any speed but also by precise handling.

Special grooves in the shoulder areas

Among the many other advantages of this tire, it is necessary to note the low noise level. It is ensured not only by the multi-step arrangement of tread elements but also by special grooves located in the shoulder areas of the tread. In addition, they allowed giving softness to the tire's ride, which is ensured by the more dense fitting of the shoulder area blocks to the irregularities on the road surface.
