Шины на Seat Leon (Сеат)

The Seat Leon is a compact car of the C segment. It has been produced since 1999, using the platform and components of the Volkswagen Group, like other models of the brands owned by this manufacturer.

Body 1M

The car presented in 1999 was a compact hatchback, and its sedan version existed as a separate model, the Toledo. It was developed on the PQ34 platform from the Volkswagen Group. It was positioned as a less expensive, but at the same time more sporty version of the VW Golf, for which the car had a more aggressive exterior design. In addition, in the higher trim levels, it was equipped with more powerful engines and a stiffer suspension, which improved handling, and in the cabin, the instrument panel from the Audi A3 of the first generation was used. The "base" engine was a 1.4-liter engine with a power of 75 hp. In turn, the most dynamic modifications were equipped with in-line "fours" with a volume of 1.8 liters with turbocharging and VR6 with a volume of 2.8 liters and a power of 204 hp. Later, they became "charged" versions of the Cupra, which, in addition to powerful power units, received all-wheel drive transmission. The diesel part of the engine range was represented by in-line "fours" with a volume of 1.9 liters of varying degrees of boosting, well-known from other models of the Volkswagen Group.

Body 1P

The car of the second generation was launched into mass production in 2005. It was based on the PQ35 platform, like the other bestseller of the C segment, the VW Golf mk5, differing from it by a sharp, wedge-shaped silhouette and door handles integrated into the body, similar to the current models of Alfa Romeo. The "base" engine of the series was a new 1.2-liter 4-cylinder engine with a turbine and a power of 105 hp from the TSI family. However, modifications corresponding to the concept of the model had much more serious engines. First of all, this is a 2-liter diesel engine with turbocharging and direct injection with a power of 140 hp. Later, the range was supplemented with a 2-liter gasoline TFSI engine with a power of 185 hp, which was a unique offer for this segment, but such modifications were so underestimated that they were quickly removed from production, giving way to sports versions of the FR. They were presented in 2006, receiving the same engine from the VW Golf GTI, as well as a 2-liter diesel engine with a power of 170 hp, which was used in the Audi A3. These versions were so successful that the brand soon expanded the series with even more powerful modifications - Cupra and Cupra R with a time to "hundred" of just over 6 seconds.

Body 5F

In 2012, the third generation car was released. This time, the latest modular platform MQB was used, which previously debuted in the VW Golf mk7. Compared to its predecessor, the model became lighter by 90 kg, but at the same time larger in the cabin and trunk. In the standard equipment, a large number of safety systems appeared, in particular, automatic braking after a collision. Optionally, LED headlights with automatic switching of low and high beam became available. However, the most important change was the expansion of the body range. From 2013, the brand began to offer the Leon ST, a station wagon with a trunk capacity of up to 1470 liters, and a year later, its "off-road" version, the X-PERIENCE, with an increased ground clearance.

Body KL1/KL8

The debut of the model of the fourth iteration took place in January 2020. It still uses the MQB platform, which has been modernized to enable the use of "hybrid" power units and the installation of numerous electronic systems. Externally, the car retained stylistic similarities with its predecessor, but without an abundance of sharp edges and body panels. Due to the longer overhang of the station wagon, its volume was increased by 30 liters, bringing this figure to 617 liters. Another innovation was the appearance of a new "base" engine. This is a 3-cylinder engine with a volume of 1 liter of the EA211 series with a power of 108 hp. The most dynamic modifications are equipped with the already known 2-liter gasoline and diesel engines from the previous generation.

In addition, the series of this model has been expanded with several versions with "hybrid" power units. The so-called "soft" version is equipped with an electric motor that allows the car to move on the move with the engine off, charging the battery when braking. A more dynamic version is a classic PHEV, in which a "pair" of a 1.4-liter TSI gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a battery is used. The total power of such a power unit is 204 hp, which makes this Leon the most powerful of the models that do not belong to the Cupra versions. Even for such an exotic version, the "Mosavtoshina" online store offers a wide range of wheels and tires.
