The Seat Arosa is a city car with a hatchback body. It was produced from 1997 to 2004. It was later replaced by the Seat Mii model.

Technical features

The model is built on the Volkswagen A00 platform, which was used in the creation of the Lupo. Therefore, the first cars were produced at the German manufacturer's plant in Wolfsburg. Only in 1998 did the assembly line start in Martorell, Spain.

Several options of gasoline engines with a volume of 1.0 and 1.4 liters, as well as diesel engines with a volume of 1.7 and 1.9 liters, were offered as a power unit. They used a 5-speed manual transmission, as well as modifications with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The car is very similar to its German "brother" Lupo. This applies not only to the general design, but also to the interior trim, instrument panel design.

Restyling

In 2000, the manufacturer made a modification to the model, which affected only some decorative elements and interior trim. The car stayed on the assembly line until 2004, and its alternative in the form of the Mii model appeared only in 2012.
