The mid-size crossover Haval M6 was introduced in China back in 2017 by one of the divisions of Great Wall Motor. In fact, it is a sports version of the H6, which was built on the same platform. Initially, the car was offered with a 1.5-liter engine, which is a licensed copy of the engine from Mitsubishi. It developed 150 horsepower and was paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Modernization

The Haval M6 became available in the Russian region on an official basis, precisely in its restyled version. Now, under the hood, there is a power unit that is a modification of the proven Toyota engine, 1.5 liters, supplemented with a turbocharger. It features a chain drive and is capable of producing 143 horsepower at 1800 rpm. This factor provides good dynamics at the start. An important feature is the ability to run on 92 gasoline. Paired with it is a 6-speed manual transmission, as well as a "robot" of its own design, which has a dual clutch, ensuring smooth gear shifting. Several operating modes are available - standard, eco, and sport, depending on which the settings of not only the transmission but also the engine itself change.

The suspension has a classic design. In the front, there are "MacPherson" struts, and in the back, there is an independent construction with double levers on one wheel. There is also a stabilizer of transverse stability. Together, this provides confident maneuverability and precision response to turns of the steering wheel.

The crossover's equipment, although not as rich as that of some of its Chinese counterparts, is represented by the most necessary systems. Among them are ABS, course stabilization, rollover protection, downhill and uphill assist, automatic emergency braking, and others. An important feature is the familiar analog instrument panel, supplemented by a small digital screen located between the "wells" of the speedometer and tachometer.

Adaptation to Russian conditions

Given that the parent company has its own production facilities in Russia, this model, like many others, is assembled in the country. This factor also implies an official warranty and availability of spare parts. And that's not all. All cars intended for the Russian region have undergone adaptation.
