The Haval H3 is part of the Chinese brand's model line-up starting from 2024. The vehicle is one of the variants of the compact Kugou crossover from 2022, designed for export markets. It differs from the original model in terms of the concept of use, offering more efficiency beyond paved roads.

In technical terms, the crossover largely replicates the popular Jolion in our country, sharing the modular L.E.M.O.N. platform, most components, and similar dimensions, except for height. The new model surpassed the "original" by 171 mm in this indicator. Additionally, smaller overhangs provided increased entry and exit angles of 24 and 26 degrees, respectively, which, along with a ground clearance of 196 mm, provides the crossover with decent geometric passability for its class.

The increased body height increases space not only for passengers but also for their luggage - up to 493 liters under the "curtain" and up to 1298 liters with the second row of seats folded. Another important difference is the "off-road" design with a characteristic bulge on the rear door, imitating a spare wheel. In turn, the salon stands out with a minimalist design, one of the notable elements of which are two 12.3-inch displays of the instrument panel and multimedia system. Moreover, the screen of the latter has climate control "installed". In addition to the almost complete absence of physical keys and buttons, the salon is distinguished by the presence of a large number of niches and containers for small items - 27. The car is available in two trim levels, and even in the "base" version, 6 airbags are offered, and in the top version - adaptive cruise control, panoramic roof glazing, and cameras with a 360-degree view.

Another important difference in the base version is the engine - a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline "four" with 143 hp, paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with a dual clutch, a multi-link rear suspension, and front-wheel drive only. The top modification offers a more attractive "bundle" of the same engine but with direct injection and turbocharging with a variable geometry guide mechanism, as well as with a four-wheel drive system with a viscous clutch on the rear axle.
