Haval Cool Dog is a small crossover that was introduced by Great Wall's off-road division in 2022. Officially, the car was not supplied to Russia in the initial stage, but was only presented by "gray" dealers. In 2024, it received the name Haval H3, which has already appeared in dealer centers on an official basis.

Equipment and technical features

The model's exterior is quite interesting. There are numerous voluminous forms that give the car a brutal exterior. As for the base, it is represented by the universal L.E.M.O.N. platform, on which models such as "Dargo" and "Jolion" were previously built.

One of the distinctive features of the exterior is the LED optics, which includes cross-shaped lights. Moreover, they are installed both at the front and at the back.

As for the interior, everything is standard for modern cars: a digital instrument panel, multimedia implemented using a 12.3-inch touch screen, a minimal number of physical buttons, and all control is carried out through the head monitor. There is enough space, although the crossover does not differ in its large dimensions.

The equipment largely depends on the configuration, but among the variety, there are options such as a panoramic roof, adaptive "cruise", 360 cameras, electric drive, both for the front seats and the trunk lid. The features include 64-color interior lighting, as well as a built-in air freshener and 18 audio system speakers (including in the head restraints).

Power units

So far, only one turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine is installed under the hood, which has two boost options. Only for the front-wheel drive car, it produces 143 hp and 210 Nm, and for the all-wheel drive - 177 hp and 270 Nm. It is paired with a robotic gearbox with two clutches, which is universal for many modern cars from Chinese manufacturers.

The suspension is made in a classic scheme - "MacPherson" at the front and a multi-link structure at the back. Thanks to it, the efficiency of the steering was achieved, and the ride comfort was also increased, including on roads with poor coverage.
