Tires on Buick Verano (Бьюик)

The Buick Verano debuted in the passenger car lineup of the North American brand in 2011, representing a compact sedan. The car was developed and produced at a joint venture with the Chinese SAIC. Initially, the sedan with this name was an export version of the 2010 Excelle GT model for the Chinese market, intended exclusively for North America, but then it began to be applied to the car sold in China.

First Generation

The sedan, presented in 2011, was created on the Delta II platform, sharing it with almost all compact models of the brands that are part of the General Motors corporation, including the Opel Astra. At the same time, there were quite a few significant differences. First of all, these are the front fenders, hood, roof and doors made of double-sided galvanized steel, windshield with a noise-insulating layer, triple door seals and a 5-layer filler of cavities in the roof, sound-absorbing carpeting in the cabin, as well as 18-inch forged wheels, the design of which minimizes road noise. The next significant difference was the engine range, starting with the "atmospheric" engine with a volume of 2.4 liters of the Ecotec family, developing 180 hp and 232 Nm, working in tandem with a 6-speed "automatic". The power unit had a dual-fuel version, allowing it to run on both gasoline and ethanol. In late 2012, a 2-liter turbocharged engine with 250 hp and 350 Nm was added to it, which was also available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Such a "combination" allowed acceleration to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds.

Second Generation

In the spring of 2015, the second-generation sedan was released. This time, the car was intended only for the Chinese market, differing from its predecessor by a number of features. First of all, it was the D2XX platform, which it shared with the new Opel Astra J at the time, along with a semi-independent rear suspension with a Watt mechanism. In addition, under the hood was a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with a volume of 1.5 liters with direct injection, producing up to 169 hp and working in "pair" with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches.

In 2019, the sedan underwent significant updates. Compared to its predecessor, it stood out with a modified front-end design, stylistically designed in the spirit of current North American brand models. In turn, the interior underwent minimal innovations - the steering wheel, the location of some buttons, the multimedia system with updated software, a projection display for the top version. In technical terms, the sedan stood out with an engine range that switched to 3-cylinder turbocharged engines with a volume of 1 and 1.3 liters, producing 125 and 165 hp. The "1-liter" power unit was combined only with a 6-speed "automatic", and the more powerful version was given a variator. Depending on the configuration, this sedan was equipped with 17- or 18-inch disks and tires. This and other suitable wheel products are widely represented in the online store "Mosavtoshina".
