The compact Buick Envista crossover debuted in the North American brand's production lineup in the summer of 2022. The car became the first model made in the new Pure Design style. Similarly, the contents of the engine compartment differed. The Chinese version of the crossover used an inline petrol four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger, a 1.5-liter Ecotec series with an output of 184 horsepower. This power unit worked in tandem with a variator. The crossover for the North American market was equipped with an inline petrol 3-cylinder engine, a 1.2-liter engine that developed 138 horsepower and 220 Nm. It could only be combined with a 6-speed hydromechanical "automatic".

The maximum unification of both versions turned out to be in the salon. It is made in a modern minimalist style, standing out with the visual unification of the screens of the instrument panel and the multimedia system, which have the same size - 10.25 inches. In the central part of the front console, a classic control panel for the climate control system with physical buttons and handles was preserved. It's worth noting that the base version offers a regular air conditioner, and climate control with one controllable zone is only available in the "upper" trim levels.
