Before buying, I was worried that for the sake of quietness I'd have to sacrifice a lot in terms of handling. In reality, everything is great. Yes, the responses are a bit calmer compared to my previous sporty tyres, but daily driving is much more pleasant. This is especially noticeable on poor city asphalt: less fine vibration in the steering wheel and less tyre noise in the cabin. On the highway, they hold steady at 120–140, with no wandering. They also feel confident in the rain, although at high speed I try to avoid deep puddles on any tyres. So far, the V553 fully justify why I bought them.

I wanted to find tires that hold the road well and won't be tiring during regular driving. These tires fully satisfy. They run quietly on highways, the car feels stable at high speeds, and they're quite comfortable even on uneven asphalt. I've already driven in heavy rain, and they handle water calmly—no stress at all. So far, only positive impressions; I definitely didn't make a mistake with this choice.

At traffic lights, the start is confident, and it's easy to change lanes in traffic. On the highway, up to 140 km/h is calm, without hum and vibrations. Fuel consumption has not increased. I've driven 15,000 km, and they look like new.

When kids fall asleep in the back seat, you understand the value of good tires. ADVAN dB V553 installed on Camry, the salon has become noticeably quieter, even on the highway. Rides smoothly, smoothes out bumps. I'm not racing, it's important for me to ride calmly, without surprises. Yes, it's more expensive than a no-name brand, but nerves are more expensive.

Aquaplaning is not very good.
