Tyre reviews Yokohama Advan dB v552. Page 1 41

I put on this tire and now it's like the car is making noise with everything except the tire. Such a half-baked diagnosis. The balance isn't bad either. It was just a matter of 20-gram weights. The car's speed has increased slightly. So far that's all I've noticed, but I'm already happy as a clam with her.

I've recently put ADVAN db V552 tires on my new Nissan Teana, paired with new 17” rims for summer. I was immediately struck by how quiet the tires were, and after four full seasons with them, I can honestly say they're a real bargain. I'm confident that finding something better at this price point is unlikely. The tread life is excellent, and even in rainy conditions, the tire holds the road beautifully. It's never let me down during city driving. I

Excellent tires for the roads of the Kaliningrad region and the nearby friendly and not-so-friendly republics.
Riding on smooth asphalt is just a song, the silence is complete, after 120 km/h only acoustic noise from the oncoming air flow begins to penetrate.
On abrasive asphalt, there is no straining noise, a cobblestone road is swallowed softly, for the size 235/45/18 it is excellent, previously had Toyo 225/55/17, did not feel the difference.
The result: excellent tires, will only take this model from now on.
Those who have driven on Toyo Proxes C1S will understand me, but now these tires cannot be found in our region.- Vehicle:

I've just replaced my winter Ultragrip 600. The barely noticeable skidding that occurred due to the softness and excessive thinness of the Ultragrip's sidewall is gone. Although, overall, I'm very pleased with the winter tires. With the V552, the car has become more stable, or so it seems. At the same time, it's soft and really quiet. It grips the asphalt perfectly, is predictable in turns, and there's no wheel spin or premature ABS activation. My driving style is moderate to slightly aggressive, depending on my mood. And the four-wheel drive and 400 Nm of torque sometimes provoke me to drive dynamically. I understand that the tread pattern is not designed for off-road use, so I don't venture into swamps, and therefore I don't have any opinions about driving in deep off-road conditions. But in the city, on the highway, and on regular dirt roads - it's excellent. I haven't driven in the rain yet, so I'm relying on the honesty of other people's positive reviews.
It's foolish to give summer tires five stars for handling on ice and snow, but I'm afraid that these points will affect the overall rating, so I'm giving them five stars. The other ratings are realistic.
In short, I strongly recommend these tires.

To be honest, I expected more from these tires. After reading reviews and checking ratings, I decided to buy them. I don't know, but compared to the tires I had before, I didn't see any significant advantages, except for the very interesting tread pattern. In terms of noise, I had Nokian Green and Continental, and they are quieter. In terms of aquaplaning, Nokian again handled puddles better. In terms of braking, they are on the same level as all the tires I had before, neither worse nor better (my previous tires were from Germany and Finland). As for the price, there are many questions now, as they are all in the same price range, and I have tires that are featured in car magazine reviews.
Conclusion: of course, I expected more from the purchase of these tires, but at the same time, I have nothing bad to say about them yet. As they say, time will tell. The tires are new, and my next purchase won't be soon, as I usually drive for 2-3 seasons and buy new ones. Would I buy them again? I don't know, unless the ones I want are not available, and again, I had better ones before. The biggest thing that bothers me about these tires is, of course, their performance on puddles (especially in ruts), since in Regina, where I live, it rains 70-80% of the time, and I will be going back to Finnish models, but again, considering the prices in the future.- Vehicle:

It is precisely distinct by its quietness, very quiet. The grip on the road is good, it doesn't wobble on ruts and on wet roads, holds well. I've been driving on it for the second season already, excellent tire)

Good balance, solid sidewalls, but not too stiff itself. Holds the road like a cast, no handling issues. Does not float, even on fairly deep puddles it's okay.

The most important thing is that the tire is quiet, I've been looking for exactly that for a long time. Both in the city and on the highway, it's very comfortable to ride on. Its other characteristics also suit me.
