The summer tire Yokohama Advan dB v552 is designed for dynamic versions of passenger cars. It is characterized by a very high level of acoustic comfort for its class, which is combined with excellent traction properties in the most difficult conditions.

High-speed stability

The tread pattern has an asymmetrical arrangement of elements. One of them is a double longitudinal rib, offset to the outer side of the tire. It increases directional stability and steering accuracy at high speeds due to its resistance to deformation, and when maneuvering dynamically, it interacts with the shoulder blocks, adding stability.

Increased contact patch

The tread has a special profile. With its help, the contact patch under the weight of the vehicle becomes larger and takes on a rectangular shape, contributing to uniform pressure on the road surface. This improves traction properties and makes them more stable, making it easier to control the vehicle, especially in difficult situations. Additionally, this solution significantly reduces uneven wear.

Low noise level

To improve acoustic comfort, the Japanese manufacturer's engineers have done a tremendous amount of work, resulting in the application of a whole range of solutions. One of them is the optimization of the tread pattern design, which was created using computer modeling tools. A combination of shapes, sizes, and arrangement of tread elements was selected, which generates a minimum of noise and vibrations. The tread has a two-layer structure. The upper layer is made of an elastic rubber compound that does not allow vibrations to spread to other components of the tire's design, the vehicle's suspension elements.
