I had been hesitant in choosing tires for my father-in-law's car for a long time.
I've had Michelin, Continental, Nokian, and Pirelli before, so I have something to compare with.
I chose Windforce Catchfors UHP 225/50 ZR17 98W XL due to the economic aspect and the assortment of tires on the market. Since the car is driven in a "pensioner" style, with a speed of no more than 100-120 km/h.
After listening to colleagues at work who drive on similar tires, friends, and the surrounding environment, I chose this one.
I would probably rate it as a good option and an alternative to "foreign" manufacturers.
The advantages include:
1. It's definitely quiet, even compared to well-known brands
2. Wear resistance is good, under the conditions of driving home-cottage-work
3. Operation in the rain is predictable (of course, within the above-mentioned speed limit)
4. There were no problems with balancing
5. Lane behavior is completely adequate, it doesn't throw you from side to side, apparently due to the soft sidewall, although it feels stiff to the touch
6. I didn't notice any critical sluggishness and vagueness in turns
7. PRICE! and that says it all
8. Normal rolling and pleasant sharpness of the steering wheel
I didn't find any critical disadvantages during the driving time.
Would I recommend it? Rather yes than no.

Having read positive reviews, I decided to purchase these tires, plus the price was attractive. The start was not successful, during the installation at the tire shop, they couldn't balance it for a long time, they tossed it, turned it on the disk, and still to no avail, at a speed of 80 km/h, vibration began, plus a beating in the steering wheel, and by 110 km/h, driving became almost impossible. After visiting many tire shops and spending a significant amount of money, the vibration was almost completely eliminated. But this is not the most interesting thing, in the next season of operation, leaving the house, I was waiting for a surprise in the form of a almost flat tire, after pumping it up and driving to the tire shop, it turned out that on the inner side of the tire, the cord was all cracked, through which the tire was deflated, the situation is the same on the other tires, with cracks up to 10 cm long. In the end, the tire traveled just over 10,000 km, I don't fly over potholes, I'm not into drifting. I advise you to stay away from these tires,

crookedness leads to trouble.

For many years, I've been loyal to Valvoline oils, Mann filters, and Toyo tires, always choosing high-quality products. While it's possible to stock up on oil and filters, the situation with tires is more complicated. Pirelli and Michelin are too expensive, Toyo is not available in Russia, and Viatti Strada 2 is out of stock. I filtered the options on this website by rating, and the tread pattern, sidewalls, and price seemed normal. I picked up the tires in their packaging, hoping they would meet my expectations. In the end, the tire quality is solid, according to my visual and tactile assessment, as well as the opinion of the tire fitter. I hit a deep pothole with sharp edges (thanks to the tram lines in Saratov) and thought I'd get a puncture, but everything turned out fine. The tires perform well on the highway, in the city, and on wet roads - their behavior is predictable. On the M4 highway, where the trucks have created ruts, I feel like the car is drifting or "floating" when driving straight. This might be due to the 17-inch disks, the different stiffness of the struts (a legacy from the first owner, with sports suspension in the front and standard in the back), or the tires themselves. On asphalt with large aggregate, there's a slight humming noise. Overall, I recommend these tires - the price-to-quality ratio is optimal.

I ordered in Rostov-on-Don on 17.07, and they arrived on 19.07, and I installed the tires of this brand in the size 265/50/20 the very next day. I was torn between Korea and China, but the super price (twice as low) and positive reviews tipped the scales in favor of Windforce. What worried me the most before installation was how they would be balanced, but there's a tire fitter named Karen working there - a real pro, I recommend him to everyone! He clearly understands how to put the tire on the disk for proper weighting to minimize the use of weights. Thank you very much to him! And now about the most discussed topic - balancing - weights are only attached to the inner side, 60, 50, 35, and 15 grams, and I have 3 disks - ready to roll! I'm thrilled because I previously had Yoshka Parada Space H in the same size, with weights of 100-120 grams! It's too early to talk about wear and other things, but I accelerated to 110 and there were no vibrations, the ride became noticeably softer and more comfortable, and it didn't lose its handling, I specifically entered a long turn at the limit, and the sensitivity to the camber disappeared, previously it would strongly grip. So far, the only thing I've noticed is that the tire is noisier than Parada, but not critically so. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and the installation itself, and I think overpaying for a brand is not justified when there's such an alternative! Thank you, I'll be back!

I do not recommend, one tire was not able to be balanced. The tire is very noisy. At speeds over 100 km/h, there is a strong vibration!

Excellent tires! I put 5* on snow and ice management so the rating wouldn't be understated.
I chose based on price and reviews, I was ready for some drawbacks due to the low price. There are no drawbacks yet. So far, operation is only on asphalt, judging by the pattern, it's worth getting off it with caution - its purpose is highway/city. On the M-4 highway, over 1000 km back and forth, it performed perfectly:
- stable at speeds over 150
- in heavy rain, it slightly reduced speed, excellent on water
- quiet at all speeds.
On the 255/50/20 size, it balanced well, up to 40 grams per wheel
It's too early to judge the wear, but at this price, you can change them more often than usual. I recommend.

An excellent road tire. Softly swallows joints and irregularities, quiet and manageable enough for my car. In puddles, it's average, if you don't get rough with the speed of passing turns on wet roads, everything is more than delightful. As for wear resistance, I won't say, haven't driven enough. Given the situation in the world, it's worth its money 100%. For my 19-inch radius, it's almost the cheapest))) I'm satisfied like an elephant.
