Tyre reviews Windforce Catchfors A/T II 1302

The wheels are amazing. I drive on them all year round. They surprised me a lot. I didn't expect that from them. For such a tread, at a speed of 120, it can be said that they don't make noise. In winter, on wet mud, they're simply excellent. I don't drive into thick mud, but on softened roads in fields after rain, the car drives without problems. In general, I'm very satisfied. I bought another new set. It's waiting for when I wear out this one. I recommend them to everyone?????

It's hard to describe this tire right away, as I've only driven it for about two months. I'm not sure if I would have bought them or not until I've driven it fully. For now, I'm not regretting my purchase, I'm generally satisfied. They're good, especially considering their specific application, as it's an all-terrain tire. The price was super affordable. For its price, it beats all the famous manufacturers. The tread pattern looks similar to BF Good

The quality is good, the tread is strong. I drive a lot on hard dirt roads, the tire doesn't crack, and doesn't even get scratched. At 100 km/h, noise appears, but this is AT and for such a tread pattern it's normal. The tire is really good.

Good tires, as an alternative to Goodrich, why not. The tread pattern is very similar. I took 235/85/16. They performed well in mud, no complaints. Previously, I had Ecogama - these are no worse.

Stylish tires. I bought them after watching a video on YouTube from Australia. I was pleased with the presence of white letters on the sidewall. The brand is well-known - it has participated in many tests. I recommend

This review is strictly "winter".
As for the tires, I honestly can't say anything bad about them. They're not Atehka, they're closer to MT.
The "winter" properties of the rubber turned out to be better than I expected from Atehka. The UAZ Patriot has become noticeably harder to accelerate - but that's the price for the size. I'd say that driving over 80 is not comfortable.
I didn't drive for long, but it's already clear that the tires are very, very worthy. They were balanced at around 50 grams with an adjustment for the curvature of my wheels.
They didn't become stiff at -15 degrees. In the 235/85 R16 size, they handle perfectly. They ride softly. They grip bombastically, but with a caveat: if you don't allow wheelspin. As soon as the wheels start spinning, 50% of the traction disappears. The same story with braking. That is, the rubber is not frictional, but more classically gripping.
If we're talking about ice, then they, of course, lose at 0 or close to it, but asphalt is not an ice rink, and only desperate people drive on ice, even with winter tires.
While the tires are new, they brake decently on packed snow with ABS.At a pressure of 1.8-2.0, the UAZ's snow-parking properties have gone somewhere into the stratosphere. Braking on asphalt in winter is better than the Kama 219 in summer.
Handling is complete garbage, but that's because of the super-high profile of 85. It would be strange to expect handling from such a size. In profiles 70 and lower, handling will be better. For comparison, in winter, in all conditions except ice, at a pressure of 1.8-2.0, the grip became noticeably better than the worn-out 50% winter tire 245/75 R16 Dunlop Grandtrek Ice on the same pressure. Snow passing ability has also gone into the stratosphere, which is why I decided to sell the old winter tire with 50% wear as a spare while the season isn't over...
Maybe over time, the edges of the tread will become rounded and the winter properties will become worse... in general, either the donkey will die or the padishah will die.The width of the tread is 180-185 cm. Whether this is little or not will be shown by the spring field.
On the one hand, it's a minus, since the competitors have a wider tread, on the other hand, it's a plus, since it's easier to create a concave tread profile when vulcanizing.
What will win out will be shown by the spring field.Summer and autumn passability do not raise any questions.... The Goodrich tread is super for the UAZ.
There are no doubts about the asphalt characteristics. Given the weight of the "barn", average speed, and size, I don't even think about aquaplaning.
In short, these are excellent tires for moderate driving in very, very wide ranges.

For frequent removal from asphalt
Noise exists, it cannot be otherwise, you should be ready for it when choosing such tires, up to 110 is tolerable, 130 is average, 160 is noisy, relatively soft, after winter, bumps are felt much less, handling is as usual. Mileage is not large on these tires, a couple of days, after the season there may be other impressions. I will write after summer

Good tires for their money. Makes noise after 130 km/h. Handling is good. Whistles when making a sharp turn or U-turn. Drives normally on the highway and on gravel. Haven't driven on puddles or mud. The price of 9 thousand? per piece suited me just fine. Planning to drive on it in the winter.

Excellent AT tires. I really liked the rubber, for the miles I've driven, only positive feelings. The most important thing for me is comfort, my Mitsu is not the softest car in terms of stiffness, and if you also have an AT-ke with an SUV index, moving around the city becomes a chore, it shakes mercilessly, and every joint and unevenness is transmitted to the 5th point. I was looking for tires with more comfortable characteristics and that would be toothy, because an SUV should be in the corresponding configuration (otherwise, what's the point of it). After all, I have to drive it in different directions and not only on paved roads, but also on dirt and graded roads. Having gathered positive statistics from acquaintances about Chinese tires, I decided to look in that direction (since well-known manufacturers have flown away in terms of price). I came across a review of these tires from Australians, which caught my attention, and I decided to stop my choice on them, and the price was also pleasant. The purchased tires have shown themselves to be very good, moderately noisy, and sometimes I even open the window to listen to their rustling on the asphalt (the sound is not intrusive, and it's not heard in the cabin with the windows closed). When evaluating the characteristics, I didn't put 5 stars everywhere, only because I couldn't evaluate some of them (I put one star for the characteristics I couldn't evaluate, since the system doesn't allow me to leave a review without a rating). It's crazy to expect super handling from AT tires, their main task is off-road, and expecting them to behave like highway tires on asphalt is foolish. In turns at speed, it drifts like any AT, and brakes accordingly, and on wet pavement, it behaves predictably like an AT. I didn't catch aquaplaning, I tried driving through a puddle in the rain as a test (on an empty road), it pushes water out well, and there was no drift (average speed 80-90). On dirt roads, it behaves excellently, I regularly drive through the forest, and after the rain, I got to try it out where the soft ground was sometimes encountered, and sometimes there were puddles with deep tractor-treaded ruts, the tire cleans well, doesn't allow wheelspin, I tried to drive smoothly, the car passes confidently (I didn't have to tug, and I'm not a fan of such rides), the tire grips well and adds confidence. I'm satisfied with the purchase!
P/S Summer is coming to an end, the rainy season is starting... and maybe I'll add to the review...

The tires are not bad, I've driven relatively little, but I have something to say. The highway is very good, the first snow that caught me on the road with all its charms, handled great. The skidding was predictable, the braking was too, but it's worth remembering that this is not winter tires. I also tried mud, and on a rutted field road that was destroyed by a tractor, it drove surprisingly confidently. I would recommend it to those who drive a lot on the highway and occasionally go off-road in fields, forests, and near water bodies where there is not serious off-road driving.
